CG Post Matric Scholarship 2026 : The online registration, application, verification, approval, and scholarship disbursement process under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for the 2026–27 academic session has commenced for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The department has also released detailed guidelines and the official schedule for the scholarship process.
The Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development, Chhattisgarh has informed eligible SC, ST, and OBC students that the renewal application portal for the Post Matric Scholarship 2026–27 has been open since 20 June 2026. Students can submit their renewal applications online through the departmental portal at https://schoolscholarship.cg.nic.in/ until 30 August 2026. The portal for fresh applications will open on 1 August 2026.
All government and non-government colleges, universities, engineering colleges, medical colleges, and nursing colleges operating in the district, under the Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development, Raipur, Principals/Institution Heads of ITIs, Polytechnics, etc., Scholarship In-charges, and the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Classes students studying therein who are eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship administered by the Department, For the 2026-27 academic session, the registration, approval, and disbursement of the online Post-Matric Scholarship (for classes 12th and above) can be completed online at https://postmatric-scholarship.cg.nic.in/.
According to information received from the Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, the scholarship portal for the year 2026-27 will be launched on June 20, 2026, for the renewal of students’ scholarship applications and on August 01, 2026, for new applications, with the process running until December 30, 2026. All processing and approval of received renewal and new applications should be completed by the approving officer within the prescribed timeframe and before the distribution date, so that the competent authority can finalize the entire distribution and payment of scholarships by January 2027. For scholarships, the income ceiling for parents of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students is Rs. ₹2.50 lakh per annum; for Other Backward Classes, the income limit is ₹1 lakh per annum; a permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority, a native certificate of the State of Chhattisgarh, and the student’s examination results from the previous academic year will be required. CG State Scholarship – Post Matric Scholarship 2026–27
The Post Matric State Scholarship is a financial assistance program introduced by the Chhattisgarh Government to support students from economically weaker families, including those holding Below Poverty Line (BPL) status, in continuing their higher education. Under the Post Matric State Scholarship System (PFMS), eligible scholarships are processed online, and the approved scholarship amount is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

PFMS Portal
The Post Matric State Scholarship (PFMS) 2.0 Portal serves as a single online platform where students can apply for multiple scholarship schemes with ease. Through this portal, applicants can access and apply for Central Government Scholarships, State Government Scholarships, and UGC/AICTE Scholarship Schemes.
The PMSS portal also allows students to complete the entire scholarship application process online. Eligibility Criteria for Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship 2026–27
- Students belonging to the Economically Backward Class (EBC), whose annual family income from all sources does not exceed ₹1,00,000, are eligible to apply online for the Post Matric Scholarship.
- Students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants must be permanent residents of the state of Chhattisgarh.
- Under the Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, students who have secured at least 50% marks in their most recent qualifying examination are eligible to receive the scholarship.
- The applicant must be studying in Class 11 or Class 12, or enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, medical, or engineering courses at a recognized educational institution.
Documents Required for Submission

- Printed copy of the online application form.
- Self-attested photocopy of the BPL (Below Poverty Line) Card.
- Self-attested photocopy of the Admission Card/Admission Receipt.
- Photocopy of the Class 10 and/or Class 12 mark sheet/certificate (as applicable).
- Photocopy of the mark sheet of the previous qualifying examination.
- Original Income Certificate.
- Photocopy of the Caste Certificate and Domicile (Residence) Certificate.
- Photocopy of the applicant’s bank passbook (Bank of Baroda or State Bank of India).
- Photocopy of the Aadhaar Card.
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Photocopy of the Aadhaar Seeding Active printout downloaded from the online portal.
- OTR (One Time Registration) Number (required only for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories).
CG Post Matric Scholarship Apply Process
- Documents Required for Scholarship Application
- The scholarship application must include the following documents:
- (a) One copy of the scholarship application in the prescribed format. Separate application forms are prescribed by the respective State Governments/Union Territories for fresh and renewal scholarship applications.
- (b) One recent passport-size photograph of the student, duly signed by the applicant (required for fresh scholarship applications).
- (c) One attested copy of all relevant certificates, diplomas, degrees, mark sheets, or certificates of the examinations passed by the applicant.
- (d) An income declaration from the parent(s) or guardian(s):
- In the case of self-employed parents/guardians, an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper declaring the annual family income from all sources.
- In the case of employed parents/guardians, an income certificate issued by the employer is required. If there is any additional income from other sources, it must be declared through an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper.
- (e) Proof of permanent residence (Domicile Certificate).
- (i) If the applicant received a scholarship under this scheme in the previous academic year, an acknowledgment receipt of the scholarship, duly countersigned by the Head of the concerned institution in the prescribed format, must be attached with the application.
- (ii) The State Department shall ensure that the applicant belongs to the concerned minority community before processing the scholarship application.
- (iii) The completed application form, along with all the required documents, must be submitted to the Head of the institution where the applicant is currently studying or last studied. The application should be addressed to the authority designated for this purpose by the concerned State Government or Union Territory, in accordance with the instructions issued by the respective government from time to time.

5.Bank Details: On the instruction of Department we provide online DBT facility. The department have require the student bank details to create the scholarship amount in the account of student for this below is the screen. To get the scholarship student should fill the current running bank details in the below form.

6.Document Upload: Three essential documents require by the department in the scholarship DBT process that is Cast Certificate, Domicile certificate and Income certificate. The student should upload this documents by below screen.
7.Lock Screen: This is the screen to final and last step to finalize the all essential and required information in online scholarship DBT process. After finalization student cannot change any information that was previously fielded by the student. So Before click in the lock button student should carefully cake all the entries and then click for Lock application.
